Firstly, apologies for the lack of replies on the tagboard. As Shun Hua has mentioned, the entire committee had our dry runs (residential) over the past few days. We're as enthusiastic as all of you ;)
Since there have been many questions, I will attempt to have a FAQ here.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q1. What is FWC? (or fuuc)
A1. FWC stands for Freshmen Welcome Camp. The FWC Committee is part of the Chemical and Environmental Engineering Students' Society (ChESS). FUUC is a variant of FWC (W = double U).
Q2. I have attended Engin Camp, should I still go for the camp?
A2. As this camp is organised by ChESS FWC Committee, it is targeted at all incoming Chemical (CHE) and Environmental (EVE) students. Whether you have attended Engin Camp, any other camps or none at all, if you are a CHE or EVE student, you are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to attend this camp because...
i. You get to meet, interact and bond with your fellow coursemates who you will be seeing for the next FOUR YEARS.
ii. Once school starts, you hardly have time to bond and you will see your coursemates sticking to friends they have made during the camp!
iii. This camp is specially tailored for you! and you will be seeing/hearing us throughout your stay in NUS.
iv. Did I mention that you will now know many more people (including seniors) whom you can borrow lab reports and textbooks from? ;)
If you want more personal opinion, feel free to call up any of us =)
Q3. I really would like to go for the camp but I'm working....
A3. If you haven't tried asking your boss to take leave, now's the best time to do it...
Q4. What is the Tertiary Party?
A4. The Tertiary Party at DXO is held in conjunction with our FWC. The party is open to all who purchase tickets from 8pm. As such, campers are encouraged to invite your non-CHE/EVE friends to come down for the party to join you in the celebrations!
Q5. What can we expect at the Tertiary Party? (for non-campers)
A5. Among others, we have performances by NUS CAC Voices as well as by NUS Sheares Hall Band! They are definitely not to be missed!!
Q6. Do I need to purchase a DXO ticket if I am already attending the camp?
A6. No. The $50 camp fee is inclusive of admission into DXO on 17 July 08. For campers, there will be more activities held there (it is our finale night after all!) even before we open the doors to the rest =)
Q7. Is the camp still open for registration? How is the gender ratio like?
A7. Registration is still open! Upon registering (emailing, blog form etc), you will be reserved a spot. However, your place is only confirmed upon payment (see above for payment info).
The gender ratio is not heavily lopsided. As the camp is in late July, many are able to make it for this camp. We are constantly receiving signups daily =)
Q8. How come I have not heard of this camp at all? (or why do I keep receiving info abt this camp?)
A8. We have an advert in the booklet of all camps which you should have received in your NUS Matriculation Package. Also, currently, our direct email publicity is limited by the contact list that is kindly provided to us by the NUS Chemical Engineering Department. This list is not updated and does not contain the entire cohort's information. As such, some of you may have heard from us via email AND phone calls. On the other hand, you may not have heard anything from us. We have done our best with the current information available and seek your assistance in spreading word of this camp (or party) to your interested friends. You may register with us as stated above (before the FAQ section).
Looking forward to your participation! We're eager, we hope you are too! =)
Cheers!
